Melt me a river

The sun is shining.

The snow is melting … millions of tiny rivers running down the hill and into the creek.

The process began with a bit of freezing rain that smoothed and sculpted the drifts into perfect, glossy peaks. Now the 40+ degree temperatures and sparkling brightness are having an effect.

The once smooth hills are shrouded in wrinkled skin.

But not for long.

The four-day forecast features snow.

And why not?

If it comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb.

At least that’s why I’m telling myself.

Ok, I give up. I can’t handle ANY MORE SNOW!!!!!!!! Please tell me how many days till Spring. Do you think we will have a Spring, or are we going straight to 90 degrees? Oh by the way, we have 8 school days to make up. So when it finally is summer, we will still be in school………UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Farmgirl says:

At this point, I would embrace 90 degrees with open arms (and lots of deoderant, of course).

  3. Your pictures of the snow are lovely. I am ready for spring. Very tired of the cold, dreary and gray sky.
