T — Thinking of what I have to be grateful for

H — Happy for my friends

A — And happy for my family

N — Nothing can change that

K — Kissing family one by one

S — So they will stay and eat

G — Giving turkey, stuffing and all kinds of food

— Inviting adults to stay all day, and

— adVenturous kids, also

I — Inviting some to stay the night

N — Now hoping to say yes

G — Giving is a special thing; do it and be rewarded!

“These are stools so they can sit around the campfire.

They’re kinda tall, though. The Indians are too little, they have to lay down.

Mommy … can I just eat them?  My people want to stand.”

    I= Invade??? I think it sums up Thanksgiving dinner with family quite well!!
