What do little boys daydream about
while sprawled in a field in holey jeans and rubber boots?
Maybe they think about fishin’ trips with the boys … guy talk … dirt … worms.
Maybe they think about catching THE BIG ONE!
Or an even BIGGER one.
Maybe they gaze across the water at their oldest sister. A sister who needed a little quiet time and a spot away from the fishin’ with the boys club.
Maybe daydreaming little boys just look around and watch …
… and laugh and learn from older siblings and cousins and waves and grasses waving in the wind. Maybe they notice the sunshine, the birds, the cracked remnants of goose eggs in a nest.
And maybe they don’t pay attention at all … lost in some secretive, scheming little world of their own that has absolutely nothing to do with their present circumstances.
But whatever it is that little boys think about and consider and imagine, it sure looks interesting and entertaining and … sweet.
