Boot scootin’

Bloom where you are planted.

We’re planted at the county fair. Stay tuned for photos and commentary throughout the week!

Today the kids are up bright and early for a hearty breakfast before washing animals. Then they’ll load ’em up and move ’em out. Check-in at the fairgrounds today, followed by hog tag-in, weighing and photos this evening. They’ll be hanging out in the open class dairy barn for the next seven days … ’cause I gave them the boot, so to speak.

Tomorrow is the dairy show, followed by 4-H hogs at 5 p.m. Going to be a busy, busy day.

Have a great week!

Looks great. I hope you and the animals don’t all melt in this heat though.
