For days when you’re busy, overwhelmed, overworked and worn out … or if it’s too hot in the kitchen for the stove and oven …
Easiest-ever Meat & Potatoes
Step 1: Spray a Crock-Pot with non-stick cooking spray. Plug it in and turn it on Low.
Step 2: Wash and quarter enough red and/or Yukon Gold potatoes to feed your family. Dump them in the Crock-Pot. Add half a bag of baby carrots and any other vegetables you feel like eating. Sprinkle with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
Step 3: Remove a Certified Angus Beef brand tri-tip roast (or your favorite cut) from the refrigerator. Place atop the vegetables. Sprinkle with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
Step 4: Put the lid on the Crock-Pot, be sure you turned the setting to Low. Walk away for a good 8-10 hours. Yes, it really is that simple.
It may not make for the most beautiful blog food photo, but it is a delicious, home-cooked, slow-cooker meal. It takes about five minutes to prepare. You can do it before you have to do all of your other tasks. And when you get home from work or life or whatever it is that fills your day, your supper will be waiting.
And it will be mighty tasty.
