With thanksgiving

I’m in love with this painting … mostly because it tells the story of a busy kitchen with yummy smells, fast-moving fingers and yes … twin boys in the corner. Soon, my kitchen will look just like this one (minus the cat!).

The boys are going rabbit hunting, the ladies are cooking vittles and around 5 p.m. we’ll all sit down to enjoy our blessings and bounty. I wish the same kind of cozy joy for each of you.

God bless you. God bless your families.

Gather together …

I love the picture too! Especially, the twins! :+) I’ve been thinking of Thanksgivings of years gone by. I thought of grandma of course and the stuffing on the steps, the gigantic feast, and the love I felt!

Nothing to miss … I just meant that art looks like a snapshot of us on Thanksgiving, except for the cat in the painting (because we don’t have an indoor cat!) Hope you had a lovely turkey day!
