Where on earth has the week gone?!

I’m ecstatic tomorrow is Friday but I still have bunches to do before the weekend arrives. I don’t feel I’ve accomplished much of anything over the last few days. I guess I’ve been chained to the computer and my desk, and except for Tuesday’s field trip with the kids I’ve been thinking and writing and posting and proofing and brainstorming and now … my brain hurts. Literally. I’ve had a headache all day. The glorious sun nearly burned out my eyeballs. Also …

I am officially divorced … from facebook.

Will it last? Maybe, maybe not. It took me three days of running fun little scripts and installing a scrubbing program to delete all my past personal content. You didn’t think I was going to leave them with my pontificating and prose, did you? Nope. I deleted it all … at least I tried. I think most of it was scrubbed from my personal account. I’m sure they managed to hang onto some of it … maybe all, who knows.

I feel strangely free.

You can still follow my blog on Facebook, here. And please do!

Anyway, I have one more thing to write for work, supper to get for my family, and then I’m taking a hot bath, putting on my fuzzy pajamas, pouring a glass of wine and settling in to watch Grey’s Anatomy. I know. The sheer excitement of my life is simply stunning.

How’s your week been so far?

Are you all expecting snow tomorrow? Wish we were there. My week has been hard. I haven’t gotten much done either except work. I’m ready to stay home and shut the world out. 😉 Have a great weekend.

Just a few flurries but we were not part of that storm.

I also divorced FB a few months ago. I felt like my privacy settings weren’t really private at all. And, that I had to click on this and that and check this or that in order to be sure my account was private.

It is very freeing and I honestly don’t miss it. I thought for sure I’d miss it. The only thing I do miss is not being able to check up on my cousins at a click of a button, but I figure it’s far better to actually call them and let them know I care!

We are getting a lot of rain tonight in the Dayton area. Just what we need, more MUD.

I know what you mean, Kris. I’ll miss keeping in touch with people I don’t see often — but wouldn’t they love an “old-fashioned” letter, more? 🙂 Mud … Snow … Mud … Snow.
