Thankful and blessed

Blessed printable

Around here the planning has commenced and Thanksgiving preparations are underway. It’s so much fun to decorate with the girls. This year, in particular, they have begun to channel their inner decorating divas. They’re great helpers, but also key brainstorming geniuses in our pre-feast planning. We’re hosting Thanksgiving this year and I’ve been searching Pinterest and the wonderful world-wide-web for all sorts of ideas and niceties.

I thought this BLESSED banner was particularly sweet. And it’s free to download!

A festive banner isn’t the only thing on our list, though. We printed these adorable placements hoping to keep little fingers busy at the kids’ table. And to prompt some fun table talk for adults, we printed these conversation starters. I’ve also been collecting some new recipes. This year I’m going to try making stuffing in a slow cooker. You can find the recipe and some other ideas on my Thanksgiving Pinterest board.

I love entertaining and there are SO MANY wonderful ideas ripe for the picking! But in the midst of all the fun, it’s important to remember why we’re making feasts for family and friends … and this lovely read will help you stay amazingly organized and keep everything in perspective. P.S. Make her pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and put them in the freezer for next week. And then make another batch to eat this weekend. Yum!
