Super Simple Milky Way Bars

Milky Way BarsMy sister once made this recipe at a family iron chef competition. We used to choose an ingredient, prepare our dishes and show up for a literal feast at someone’s house. Even the kids participated with their own creations. This was one of the recipes prepared when our secret ingredient was corn flakes. Enjoy!

Super Simple Milky Way Bars
  • 3 packages of 8- or 10-count fun-sized Milky Way bars
  • ½ block chocolate almond bark
  • 3 cups corn flakes
  • White chocolate for melting
  1. Add parchment paper to an 8x8 inch pan. Butter the paper or spray with a non-stick spray.
  2. Melt chocolate and almond bark in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  3. Stir in cornflakes and press into an 8×8 pan.
  4. When set and cooled, drizzle with melted white chocolate. Allow to set.
  5. Cut into bars and serve.

Those look super sweet! Do you think it would work with Snickers bars vs. Milky Ways? I might have to try that.
