Peanut Butter Bread

Peanut Butter BreadThe only thing better than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is Peanut Butter Bread topped with homemade strawberry jam! This recipe, originally from Taste of Home,  has become a family favorite. In fact, my daughter was the first to bake it way back when

We’ve since tweaked the recipe a bit. I use whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose, and up the baking powder and milk measurements. The result is a deliciously dense bread. Top it with strawberry jam (or the jam of your choice!) and you have a mighty good sandwich, snack or quite possibly, a casual dessert!
