In Case You’re Missing Spring

Crabapple blossoms - 'Strawberry Parfait'The world is brimming with beauty — have you noticed? Everywhere I turn I see blooms, buds and brilliant sunsets. We’ve had navy skies and spring rains; frosty mornings and hot pink sunrises. I haven’t shared those photos here, mostly because I’ve been capturing the scenery with my phone and posting to Instagram. Do you have an Instagram account? It’s a lovely little app that allows folks to share photos quickly and easily. It’s an app for those who appreciate “A little less talk and a lot more action.” Follow me on Instagram — I’m [farmgirlfollies] — for scenes from daily life. And just in case you can’t, or don’t want another social media account to manage, I thought I’d share a few of the latest scenes from around these parts. Nature is so absolutely stunning!

Ower the first green sprigs o’ heather,
The muir-fowl faulds his wing,
And there’s nought but joy in my ain land,
At the comin’ o’ the spring!

Spring, oh my heart. Beautiful shots, Jennifer.

Last Friday I found the wild plumb bushes had blooms. Blue skies and evening light made for some beauiful shots. We are getting a little rain and things are greening up.
