Bloom Where You’re Planted

Woodland bloom

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. ~ Isaiah 35:1-4

Update: A few days ago I asked you to pray for my niece. Doctors have determined she has rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that occurs in the embryonic stage of development. There is a very large tumor in her abdomen causing all sorts of trouble in her tiny body. It’s been growing since she began. She has completed the first of 42 weekly chemo treatments. She has another surgery in her future and possibly radiation treatment, too. Please continue to pray for Kylie, and her parents. Thank you so much!

Sending healing thoughts your way to all of you in a time that is certainly most challenging. Hoping strength finds you all.

Hi, I’m married to Laurie & Neil McClester’s nephew. We have been to Twigg Winery several times and know some of your family. Laurie told me the news and I had to reach out. Our son, Luke, was diagnosed at age 2 with Stage III Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma in the same area of his body. He went through radiation and 42 wks of chemo and just last week he celebrated 2 yrs cancer free! He is 5 now and doing well. I hope his story gives your family hope during such a difficult time. We are glad to offer any support we can. We will keep you all in our prayers. I will follow up, as we are hoping she has the same outcome!
